Refund Policy
This policy explains when you can get your money back for tickets bought on Sabi Events, and how it works. The short version: each organiser sets a refund policy for their event and shows it before you buy, and if an event is cancelled you get a full refund.
1. The organiser's refund policy
When you buy a ticket, the event page shows the organiser's refund policy, which is one of:
- Full refunds until a stated cutoff before the event;
- 50% refunds until a stated cutoff before the event; or
- No refunds.
The policy you saw when you bought your ticket is the one that applies to your order, even if the organiser changes it later.
2. If an event is cancelled
If an organiser cancels an event, every paid order for it is refunded in full, including our service fee, to the payment method you used. You do not need to ask, and the organiser's refund policy does not apply.
3. If an event changes
If the date, venue or format of an event changes significantly, contact the organiser through the event page. Organisers are expected to treat fairly people who cannot attend after a change. If you cannot reach an agreement, contact us and we will help.
4. How to ask for a refund
- Contact the organiser first, using the contact details on the event page, and give your order reference (it looks like SB-20260930-00123).
- If the organiser agrees, or the policy entitles you to a refund, the organiser issues it from their dashboard.
- If you think you are entitled to a refund and the organiser has not responded or has refused, email support@sabievents.com with your order reference and what happened. We will look into it and may step in where the organiser's policy or these terms require it.
5. What you get back, and when
- A refund returns the amount you paid for the order to your original payment method through our payment provider. If you used a promo code, you get back what you actually paid, not the undiscounted price.
- Tickets in a refunded order are cancelled and their QR codes stop working.
- Banks and card issuers usually take 5 to 10 working days to show the money. We cannot speed up your bank.
- Where an organiser's policy provides a partial refund, the refunded amount is set by that policy.
6. Replays and other digital access
Access to a replay or other digital content is delivered straight away, so it is not refundable once you have started to watch it, unless it does not play, is not what was described, or the organiser removes it. In those cases, contact support@sabievents.com.
7. Payment disputes
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us before asking your bank to reverse it; we can usually fix things faster. If a payment is disputed with the bank, the related tickets may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
8. Fraud and misuse
We may refuse or reverse a refund that is part of fraud or abuse, for example a ticket that has been used or resold and then claimed as lost.
